Who we are
ParTrek is a golf scorecard app for iPhone, published by Corneil Efoma ("we", "us"). You can contact us at corneil@efoma8consulting.co.uk.
What data the app stores
ParTrek stores the information you enter — scores, pars, swing tags, notes, practice strokes, and your profile stats — locally on your device using your phone's app storage. This data:
- never leaves your device via ParTrek — we have no server that receives it;
- is not linked to your identity — the app has no account system;
- is removed if you delete the app from your device.
What we don't do
- We don't collect personal information.
- We don't use analytics or advertising trackers.
- We don't sell or share data with third parties.
- We don't require an account or sign-in.
Third-party content: YouTube
Coaching clips in ParTrek are streamed from YouTube. When you play a clip, YouTube (a Google service) may process standard technical data such as your IP address in line with Google's privacy policy. We don't control this and don't receive any of that data ourselves. If you'd rather not stream from YouTube, simply don't play the clips — the rest of the app works entirely offline.
App Store purchases
If ParTrek offers paid features in the future, payments would be handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We would receive anonymised sales reports from Apple, never your payment details.
Children
ParTrek is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Your choices
- Delete your data in the app: use the reset options in the Profile tab.
- Delete everything: remove the app from your device.
Changes to this policy
If ParTrek's data practices ever change — for example, if we add optional cloud backup — we'll update this page and note the new effective date above.
