Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Corneil Efoma ("we", "us"), the publisher of ParTrek — not Apple — and they govern your use of the ParTrek app and any paid features in it. By downloading or using ParTrek you agree to these terms.

1. Your licence to use ParTrek

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use ParTrek on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

2. Subscriptions, free trial and billing

• ParTrek Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription: £1.99 per month or £12.99 per year (or the local-currency equivalent shown on the App Store payment sheet).
• 14-day free trial: new subscribers get 14 days free. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and you are charged the plan price.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling: manage or cancel any time in your device's Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Payments and refunds are handled entirely by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we never see your payment details.

3. Your data

ParTrek stores your rounds, practice sessions and stats on your device only. See our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backing up your device; deleting the app deletes your ParTrek data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ParTrek unlawfully, to interfere with or disrupt the app or its distribution, or to misrepresent the app or its content as your own.

5. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of ParTrek over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

ParTrek is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of ParTrek, including loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Apple's role

These terms are between you and us. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for ParTrek and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Termination

These terms apply for as long as you use ParTrek and end automatically if you breach them. You can end them at any time by deleting the app (cancel any active subscription separately through your Apple account).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
